How Ari can help

Everything you've been holding in your head

Symptom tracking
Text or voice. One thread. Captures seizures, GI, sleep, mood, meds — together, not in five different apps.
Pattern detection
Ari watches frequency, intensity, time-of-day, and dose-change correlations — and proactively flags what's escalating.
MyChart message drafts
In your voice, with the data attached. Read it, edit it, send it from inside Ari, who will tell you when the team replies.
The to-do list
Scheduling appointments, following up on referrals, chasing prior auths, remembering what comes next. Ari handles the to-do list you've been carrying in your head.
Medication reminders
Day 14, day 28 — Ari knows the schedule. And it'll do a quick safety check before reminding you to step up.
One source of truth
Built on Citizen Health's medical record platform. Your child's symptoms, meds, and visits — connected, in one place.

How Ari helps Nasha

Voice-based symptom journaling, proactive reminders, drafting MyChart messages, and more

How It Works

No new app to learn. No streaks to maintain. No dashboard to babysit. Just a thread in your Messages app.

1
You text. Or speak.
"Tonight was rough — she had a seizure around eight, full body shaking, lasted about 45 seconds. Constipation has been bad too." Ari logs both, in your own words, in seconds.
2
Ari spots what you'd miss.
"That's 7 seizures since April 10 — a 20% increase since the cenobamate move to 50mg. Tonight's was different: convulsive vs. the focal head-turn pattern we'd been seeing." Ari read the chart so you didn't have to.
3
Ari takes the next step.
Drafts the MyChart message in your voice. Reminds you to titrate on day 14 — and asks if it's safe before you do. Ari records the appointment, summarizes the action items, never lets one slip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly does Ari do?

Ari is a teammate designed for the day-to-day needs of rare disease patients and caregivers interacting with the healthcare system.

As an AI-powered healthcare companion, Ari goes beyond answering questions and actually completes tasks on your behalf.

It takes on the administrative, research, and coordination tasks involved in navigating healthcare, insurance, and school systems.

It reads and summarizes medical records, drafts insurance appeal letters, fills out forms, makes outbound phone calls, logs into health portals and insurance sites on your behalf, tracks symptoms, finds clinical trials, and identifies benefits programs you may qualify for.

You confirm before Ari acts; it handles the rest.

Who is Ari built for?

Ari is built for families managing complex care — primarily patients and parents of children with rare disease and developmental conditions or chronic illness.

How is Ari an upgrade from Citizen Health's AI Advocate?

Ari builds on the foundation of Citizen Health's AI Advocate, and it can do so much more to be your real teammate in rare disease caregiving.

To start, you can now interact with Ari by sending it a text message, instead of only through your Citizen Health portal.

Based on your interactions, Ari builds  ongoing awareness of who you are and what you need, has a personality, and will proactively reach out to you like a real teammate.

Even better, Ari can—with your permission—take action on things like checking portals, making calls, and all the other busywork of interacting with the medical system.

How is Ari different from other health apps or chatbots?

Most health apps track data. Most chatbots answer questions. Ari acts. With your permission, it can log into your portals, make phone calls, fill out forms, draft letters, and build a longitudinal record of your health history — all on your behalf. The difference is the same as between a friend who tells you what to say to your insurance company and a friend who makes the call for you.

Will Ari ever act without my permission?

No. Ari always asks before sending, submitting, or taking action on your behalf. You will confirm every outbound call, every form submission, and every message. Ari is designed to prepare and execute — but never without your explicit approval.

How does Ari handle my medical information?

Your information belongs to you. Ari never shares your data with third parties without your consent, never stores credentials in conversation, and uses secure encrypted methods for any sensitive inputs. Ari is built on the principle that your health data stays with you.

Can Ari give me medical advice?

No, Ari is not intended to give medical advice and users should always consult their provider or care team on a medical decision. Ari surfaces information, research, and context — it does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace your care team. When Ari finds a potential drug interaction or flags a new clinical trial, it brings that information to you so you can discuss it with your doctor. The role is navigator and advocate, not clinician.

Does Ari cost money?

Ari is currently in early access and completely free. Future pricing details will be announced at general availability.

When it is released, Ari will offer everything Citizen Health’s AI Advocate does at no cost—including allowing you to search, ask questions of, and draw insights from your medical records.

For taking actions on your behalf and other premium features, Ari will be priced in a similar range to consumer AI products with specific pricing to be announced at general availability.

The product is designed to be accessible to the families who need it most — not reserved for those who can afford a $300/hour patient advocate.

Can Ari help with school-related tasks, not just healthcare?

Yes. Ari is built for the full complexity of managing a family with special needs, which includes IEP preparation, school portal access, tracking teacher communications, downloading reports, and preparing for meetings. The healthcare and education systems are deeply intertwined for these families, and Ari works across both.

What if my situation is complicated — multiple conditions, multiple providers, multiple caregivers?

You’re exactly who Ari is built for.

Ari remembers your full history across sessions, consolidates information from multiple caregivers and sources, and builds a single longitudinal record. The more complex your situation, the more Ari does — because the coordination burden scales with complexity, and Ari absorbs that burden rather than placing it back on you.

How do I get started?

Sign up for Ari, send a text, and Ari will ask what's overwhelming you right now — whether it's insurance, school paperwork, symptom tracking, finding benefits, or researching your condition.

Ari will guide you through a first task that produces real value in under five minutes. No AI experience required. No forms to fill out first. Just tell Ari what's going on.
